Privacy Notice

This notice explains what PROBE receives, why it is needed, and where portfolio information may travel when you use research and voice features.

Effective October 28, 2026

1. Information PROBE receives

  • Waitlist information: the email address you submit and the feature or page that led you to the form.
  • Portfolio information: normalized ticker symbols, share quantities, average cost, account labels, and research-style selections you choose to import.
  • Research activity: selected tickers, feature usage, and questions entered into the current research session.
  • Subscription information: billing-customer, subscription, price, status, and renewal identifiers supplied by the payment processor. PROBE does not receive or store complete card details.
  • Technical information: authentication identifiers supplied by the hosting platform and ordinary security or error logs produced while operating the service.

2. Broker CSV handling

PROBE parses an uploaded broker CSV in the browser first so it can identify supported holdings and reject malformed rows. When you confirm an import, normalized portfolio fields—not the original file—may be sent to the configured backend and stored for your portfolio view. Remove account numbers, transaction notes, or unrelated personal details before uploading a file.

3. How information is used

PROBE uses information to operate portfolio views, calculate structural risk metrics, generate research explanations, prevent abuse, maintain data quality, and send requested waitlist or launch communications. PROBE does not sell personal information.

4. Service providers and data sources

PROBE currently relies on infrastructure and data services that may process limited information on its behalf, including OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare hosting, Supabase portfolio storage, Stripe subscription billing, Massive and Yahoo Finance market data, Render compute, SEC and U.S. government data sources, Groq language-model inference, and Fish Audio voice synthesis. For a Cornish–Fisher risk calculation, PROBE sends ticker symbols, normalized portfolio weights, and a derived portfolio value server-to-server to its separately hosted deterministic calculation service; it does not send the raw broker CSV or the user's identity. When conversational inference is enabled, PROBE may send the selected ticker, normalized position and allocation facts, versioned metrics, source metadata, and the question you entered to Groq; it does not send the raw broker CSV, your email, authentication identifier, or account number. When you request a spoken briefing, the briefing text—including any ticker symbols and portfolio metrics spoken aloud—is sent server-to-server to the configured voice provider to generate audio.

5. Retention and control

Waitlist records are retained while founding access is being organized or until removal is requested. Portfolio records are retained until they are deleted or the associated account is closed. PROBE records limited Jarvis audit metadata—such as ticker, model and prompt versions, an evidence-context hash, and whether a safety guardrail was triggered—but does not store the full question in that audit record. Operational logs may be retained for a limited period by PROBE or its infrastructure providers. To request access, correction, or deletion, contact the PROBE team through the account or invitation channel that provided your access.

6. Security and sensitive data

PROBE uses access controls and server-side credentials designed to reduce unauthorized access, but no online system can guarantee absolute security. Do not upload passwords, brokerage login credentials, Social Security numbers, full account numbers, tax documents, or information belonging to another person.

7. Age limit and changes

PROBE is intended for adults who can manage their own investment-research information. It is not directed to children under 18. Material changes to this notice will be reflected by an updated effective date before broader launch.
